get to know TANJA

With nearly 20 years of experience, I am a trained and skilled listener. In the simplest of terms I take what you tell me, and process it with you, step by step, to help you move beyond what brought you to me in the first place. I am warm and open minded with a sometimes quirky sense of humour. I happen to really like people and approach others without judgement, feeling grateful to be allowed to hear their stories.

I am a registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor (ACA25521) with a background in Psychology as well as Training and Development.

My formal qualifications and associations are:

Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from Deakin University, Melbourne.

Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from The Cairnmillar Institute, Melbourne.

Level 1 and 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy from The Gottman Institute, Seattle, USA

Licensed Facilitator Tuning Into Kids Program, The University of Melbourne, Melbourne.

Certified Trainer Heroic Imagination Project, New York, USA.

Workplace Assessor and Trainer, CAE, Melbourne.
